St Michael, archangel of compassion, surround us with your forces

St Michael, archangel of compassion, heavenly prince of the first rank, march the angels of Our Father to battle against the spirit of darkness, lies, and division besetting our world. Take flight to defend the most vulnerable, and all those who have their eyes clouded by the lie that we are not all interconnected.

Most holy archangel, whose every act is praise to the Glory of Our God, by the power of the Word of Jesus Christ that we are to heal the brokenhearted, release the captives, recover sight to the blind, and deliver those who are crushed, send the angels under your command to all restore the people of this world.

Teach us, Prince of the Heavenly Host, to fight, not against flesh and blood, but against the powerful lies and delusions tormenting our world and ripping our people apart. Your sword cuts through truth and lies, cleave this cloud of falsehood so the light of God may burn away the poisons harming our world.  Amen.
