At Creation's Paths, we explore the intersection of Christopaganism and Celtic Spirituality to gain a deeper understanding of the mysteries and wisdom of creation. Through a unique lens that draws on the spiritual practices of both Christianity and Paganism, we seek to uncover the hidden truths and profound insights that underlie these ancient traditions.

In addition, we embrace the principles of metamodernism, which encourages us to move beyond the confines of modern and postmodern thinking. By challenging our assumptions and exploring new perspectives, we can gain a deeper appreciation for the complexity and richness of our world.

Our discussions and conversations draw on a diverse range of topics, including Magic, Jewish Kabbalah, Reconstructionist Jewish Shamanism, the Hebrew Priestess Movement, Western Qabalah, and other forms of Western esoterica and magical practice. Together, we strive to deepen our understanding of the spiritual realm and to explore its relevance in our modern lives.

Whether you are an experienced practitioner or just starting out on your spiritual journey, Creation's Paths offers a welcoming community where we can share knowledge, insights, and experiences with one another. Join us as we embark on this journey of discovery, and explore the boundless potential of the human spirit.

What is metamodernism?

Metamodernism is a cultural and intellectual movement that emerged in the early 21st century as a response to the limitations and shortcomings of postmodernism. It combines elements of both modernism and postmodernism to create a new paradigm that embraces complexity, paradox, and ambiguity.

In the context of exploring spirituality, mysticism, and religion, metamodernism offers a rich and diverse array of resources. It encourages individuals to engage in open-minded and exploratory dialogue with diverse religious and spiritual traditions, while also questioning and critiquing aspects of these traditions that may be limiting or harmful.

Through its emphasis on the importance of personal experience and subjective truth, metamodernism offers a platform for exploring spirituality that is inclusive, dynamic, and ever-evolving. Its openness to multiple perspectives and its willingness to engage in dialogue across differences creates a space for meaningful and transformative conversations about the nature of existence and the human experience.

What is Creation Spirituality?

Creation Spirituality is a spiritual and philosophical movement that was founded by Matthew Fox, a former Catholic priest, in the late 20th century. Drawing on the wisdom of diverse religious and spiritual traditions, Fox developed a holistic approach to spirituality that emphasizes the interconnectedness of all things and the sacredness of the natural world.

At the heart of Fox's teachings is the concept of the Four Paths of Creation Spirituality: the Via Positiva, Via Negativa, Via Creativa, and Via Transformativa. Each path offers a unique way of experiencing and engaging with the divine, inviting individuals to explore their own unique spiritual journey and to draw on a range of spiritual practices and traditions to deepen their connection with the divine.

Unlike some more dogmatic or prescriptive approaches to spirituality, Creation Spirituality celebrates diversity and inclusivity, inviting individuals to embrace their own unique path while also engaging in dialogue and learning from others. It encourages individuals to cultivate a deep and abiding connection with the natural world and to embrace their own creativity and imagination as a means of experiencing the divine.
