There is a veil between us and the Divine, but it is one of our own making. What separates us from God is little more than our perspective or point of view. It is easy for us to distract ourselves from the basic goodness and blessing of the cosmos and life as we get caught up in the events of our lives. We evolved to pay attention to threats to our survival or means to help us to live better.
